Crazy Parrots.

So there are these birds that live in OB, and they are very beautiful to look at...its cool to have parrots living outside your window I suppose. But they are so loud!!! This is a video of them.

Carlsbad Flower Fields

Today we spent the beautiful 80 degree day at the Carsbad Flower Fields. It was a definite tourist attraction, but it was very beautiful. I loved the chance to take pictures! Nate was so sweet to be so patient with me...it was hot and we walked all over the flower fields. He is a gentleman.

We also went to the outlets in Carlsbad. Carlsbad is north of us about a half an hour. It was a fun day being out and about. We definitly got some sun and are feeling it tonight!

California Sun!

So have I mentioned latly that I LOVE living here. It is so beautiful. We spent the morning at the beach with Mike and Joni, and then took maddi for a nice walk to the dog park. It felt so good to be out in the sun. I am thinking of you in MI and sending some sun your way... Ollie wants to go to the beach too!!!

Home Again.

It is a strange thing...when we are here in San Diego, we call Grand Haven home, and when we were in GH, We called SD home. Hmm...I guess they are both home in different ways.

We had a safe flight home, and a much quicker one than expected. We were able to get here on two flights instead of three, and much quicker. So we were home by 11 last night. It was so exciting to see our pets. They were so cute.

Returning to the snow!

So we are making a last minute trip home! We would love to see everyone! So...we will be home form late Saturday night to the next Monday! Part of getting this new job was some time off, which is very nice!

Changes!

So we have had a major change....I got a new job! I will be working for Voices for Children as a program Supervisor. I will explain more later...Nick and Sandra got here yesterday, and we are spending time with them, I just wanted to update with some new pictures!

Maddi and I went to the beach for a fun filled day in the waves. She had so much fun. The waves were really big that day.

My Aunt Denise and Uncle Eric are in town for a business conference of his, so we were able to meet up with them and get dinner. It was so much fun to see them!



Nick and Sandra and Nathan and I went to Torrey Pines State Reserve today. It was very cool...a very nice hike and great views. When we got to the water, there were some really cool tide pools with crabs and little sea urchins. It was awesome.
